The battery capacity has been improved, with the bulb now capable of up to 12 hours of use on a single charge, though the maximum of 6 hours is still applicable for the brightest white light setting.

To maintain the battery life, the bulb is designed with an air flow system to ensure proper heat dissipation. This allows the bulb to achieve a higher output of 450 lumens, making it brighter than 90% of battery-operated bulbs on the market, which typically range from 100 to 200 lumens.

The detachable charging feature has been further enhanced, with the bulb now charging exclusively via a USB-C cord (note that a Type-C to Type-C cord may not work). This simplifies the charging process and eliminates the need for frequent unscrewing of the E26 socket.

The bulb also includes a sleep mode feature, allowing it to hold a charge for up to 30 days when not in use. Additionally, the timer function has been updated, with a maximum setting of 60 minutes to help users leave the room before it goes dark.
