Featuring a super-long battery life, the emergency exit lights are built-in with a Ni-Cd battery that provides a minimum of 90-minute emergency illumination. Rechargeable in 24 hours, the battery has a 50,000-hour lifespan, ensuring reliable backup power. The fully automatic, solid-state, two-rate battery charger initiates charging, and the unit also includes a charge rate/power "ON" LED indicator light and a push-to-test switch, as required by code.
